As I duck dive down and glide across the tops of the kelp forests I'm always struck by the simplistic beauty of the strong shapes of this landscape which so lends itself to monochromatic imagery.
These images are of beautiful Golden kelp (Laminaria ochroleuca), in Belle Greve Bay on the east coast of Guernsey, an often overlooked bay. The sheltered waters of this bay hides a fantastic mosaic of habitats from lush eelgrass meadows and vibrant maerl beds to rich kelp forests.
